- 1/2 of an acorn squash, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup apple cider (or ginger ale)
- 3-4 McIntosh apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp each nutmeg and salt
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp butter
- Glaze-
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
