- Torte:
- 1 17.5 oz package sugar cookie mix
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted and cooled
- 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
- Ancho Orange Pecans:
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ancho chili powder
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped
- Whipped Cream:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, well chilled
- 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange-flavored liqueur
- Garnish:
- 2 oz dark chocolate, shaved or chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated orange zest
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
