- sautee all spices in melted butter on medium heat. i also used amchur powder which is an indian spice comes from dried up mango's also called mango powder it gives a little tart flavour to the dish. cut up 2 med. potatoes, cabbage, broccolie, and vadai ( also an indian item made with mung or urad dal flour paste shaped into little dumplings) can get this at any indian store . sautee them first before sauteeing your spices then add any vegatbles you want , along with quinoa with 1-1/2 cups of water for 1 cup of dried quinoa. cover and cook on med. low heat till vegetables are done. enjoy
