Moosewood Szechuan Saute

Ingredients

    2 blocks tofu, pressed and cubed

    sauce
    1/3 c soy sauce
    1/2 c dry sherry (i just used red wine)
    1/2 c orange juice
    1/2 t ground anise seeds
    1/2 t Szechuan peppercorns roasted and ground (i didn't use these and added pepper flakes and cayenne pepper instead)
    1 T grated fresh ginger
    1 t dark sesame oil

    2 T cornstarch in 1/2 c water

    1/4 c vegetable oil
    1 T grated fresh ginger
    1lb veggies (snow peas/bean sprouts/boc choi...)
    1 c toasted peanuts (i used 2 T peanut butter)
