    Black Bean Cakes:
    1 cup cooked black beans
    ¼ cup water
    6 cloves roasted garlic
    1 egg
    ¼ cup flour
    ¼ cup breadcrumbs
    salt, pepper to taste
    Fennel Reduction:
    1/3 cup white onion, diced
    2 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
    1 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped
    ½ jalapeno, chopped
    1 cup heavy cream
    ½ cup fresh arugula
