    8 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 cup water
    2 (14-ounce) cans fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
    2 1/2 cups uncooked couscous
    1/2 cup dried currants
    1/4 cup chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
    1/2 teaspoon salt
