Ingredients

    For Sauce
    1/3 cup dry sherry
    3 tbs. tamari
    2 tbs. seasoned rice vinegar
    1 tbs. Dijon mustard
    1 tbs. grated fresh ginger
    2 large cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbs. toasted sesame oil
    1 tsp molasses or dark brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

    For Stir-Fry
    1.5 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breast
    1 bunch broccoli
    1 tbs. peanut or canola oil
    1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained
    4 cups cooked Basic Barley
    1 tbs. sesame seeds, toasted
    3 tbs. sliced scallion greens
