Apricot Pecan Protein Bars

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cups white whole wheat flour
    1 cup instant oats
    1 serving vanilla whey protein powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking soda
    3/4 cup of palm sugar
    dash of cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    1 cup pureed apricot (boil dried apricot, then puree in blend with some of the water used in boiling)
    1/2 cup chopped dried apricot
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 cup butter (softened)
    1 jar no sugar added apricot jam
