½ teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons flax seed meal or white sesame seeds
2 Tablespoons bran crumbs from GG Bran or another whole grain
1 teaspoon cinnamon
ginger (either 1 Tablespoon fresh grated or 1 Tablespoon minced preserved or 1 teaspoon ground)
½ teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
½ teaspoonfresh grated nutmeg (optional)
sprinkle of mace (optional)
¼ cup apple sauce
1 cup vanilla soy silk
1 cup mashed very ripe bananas (2 is usually enough)
