Country Bean & Ham Soup

Ingredients

    2 lbs. dry Northern Beans
    14 C. water
    4 C. ham pieces
    3 carrots - peeled, sliced, and diced
    3 ribs celery - diced
    1/4 C. chopped onion
    3 shakes pepper
    3 shakes garlic salt or powder
    1/4 C. bits of bacon
    6 Chicken bouillon cubes
    1 bay leaf

Description

This Soup Is A Great Way To Use Up Leftover Ham. A Wonderful Soup For A Cold Winter Day; Smell It Simmering On The Stove All Afternoon! It Makes A Big Batch, But It Freezes Well.
