White Bean Salad With Shrimp & Asparagus

Ingredients

    *2c sliced asparagus
    *3/4 pound medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
    *1/2tsp black pepper, divided
    *1/4tsp salt, divided
    *1tsp olive oil
    *2c. torn, fresh spinach
    *1 (19oz) can navy beans, drained and rinsed
    *3 bacon slices
    *1/2c chopped green onion
    *1 garlic clove, minced
    *1/4c low-sodium chicken broth
    *1Tbsp chopped, fresh parsley
    *2Tbsp fresh lemon juice
    *1Tbsp cider vinegar
