Lamb And Tomato Bread Lachmanjan Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp Honey
  • 1 c. Hot Water
  • 1 tsp Active dry yeast
  • 1 c. Unbleached All-Purpose Flour or possibly Bread Flour, pref Bread
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c. Whole Wheat Flour, up to 2c
  • 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 c. Shallots or possibly Onion, chop fine
  • 3 x Garlic Cloves, chop fine=1Tb
  • 1/4 lb Lamb, lean, grnd fine=1/2c
  • 1 can Plum Tomatoes, 14oz can liquid removed and minced=1 1/4c
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon, grnd
  • 1/4 tsp Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt, or possibly more to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper, grind fresh
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Pine Nuts, toasted or possibly more
