- 6 c. chicken stock or possibly water
- 6 x carrots (2 1/2 c.) - cut into chunks
- 3 x onions - quartered
- 2 x turnips (3 c.) - peeled and quartered
- 2 stalk celery - sliced
- 2 stk cinnamon or possibly 1 tsp grnd cinnamon (3 inch sticks)
- 1/2 tsp grnd cumin, up to 1
- 1/2 tsp grnd turmeric
- 1 tsp salt
- Â Â Pepper
- 1 x butternut squash or possibly small pumpkin prepared and cut into 2 inch pcs
- 3 med , sliced (6 c.)
- 1/2 head green cabbage, shredded (5 c.)
- 2 c. cooked or possibly canned chickpeas or possibly fava beans
- 1 Tbsp. minced coriander or possibly parsley
- Â Â Couscous, (see below)
- 1 c. chicken stock, warmed, up to 2
