- 3 Pandan leaves - knotted
- 3 tbsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Ikan Bilis Sambal:
- 1 cup dried anchovies
- 1 big onion - sliced
- 1 tomato - sliced
- 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
- 3 tbsp sambal paste (blended from dried red chillies and garlic)
- Sugar & Salt to taste
- Condiments:
- 1/2 cup fried dried anchovies
- 1 cucumber - halved & sliced
- 2 -3 eggs - boiled & quartered
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- Optional: prawn sambal/fried chicken
