  • 2 c. cream sherry
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • Peel of 1 orange (orange part only), removed in long strips
  • 2 teaspoon Angostura bitters
  • 5 cardamom pods
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick
  • 1 c. aquavit or possibly vodka
  • 2 tbsp. sugar or possibly to taste
  • Whole blanched almonds
  • Raisins
