- 1 x slab bacon - (8 ounce)
- 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter plus
- 1 Tbsp. softened unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- Â Â Kosher salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
