  • 8 large eggs

  • Bavarian Cream:
  • 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Frosting:
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • confectioner's sugar and vanilla to taste, whipped until stiff with some confectioners sugar and vanilla to taste
