Apple And Almond Crumble Recipe


  • 6 x crisp eating apples
  • 1 x juice of 1 lemon
  • 50 gm amaretti biscuits about 8
  • 100 gm plain flour
  • 25 gm soft brown sugar
  • 1/2 x level tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 75 gm softened butter
  •     Peel quarter core and thickly slice the apples.
  •     Toss in the lemon juice.
  •     tip into an ovenproof dish.
  •     Roughly crumble the amaretti.
  •     Mix with the flour sugar and cinnamon. Rub in the butter till crumbly and just beginning to hold together.
  •     Spoon over the apples.
