  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup solid-pack pumpkin puree
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 1/2 cups frosting
  • Orange and yellow food coloring
  • Assorted pretzel rods
  • Cupcake liners, trimmed slightly
  • Frosting:
  • 10 Tablespoons butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/4 pounds cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
