Ingredients

• 1 cup boiling water or hot coffee (coffee is better)
• 3/4 cup baking cocoa
• 1/4 cup Kahlua
• 3/4 cup butter
• 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 & 2/3 cup flour
• 2 to 3 Tblsp. Chopped pecans or walnuts (you could probably make the cake successfully without the nuts)
• Raspberry jam for between the layers
• Kahlua for between the layers
