Cream together butter, sugar and salt. Add chopped almonds, milk,extract and flour. Mix well. Chill.
Shape into small balls. Put on ungreased baking sheet. Press eachto 1/3-inch thickness. Put sliced almonds on the center of each.
Bake in 350 F. oven 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Makes 4 dozen cookies
