- 1 teaspoon Tabasco
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 pound fresh Chinese egg noodles (see above)
- 4 scallions, sliced thin
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and grated
- 1 red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded, and sliced thin
