  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
