Smoked salmon, ricotta and crab rolls

Ingredients

  • 4-6 thin slices bread, crusts removed
  • butter, for spreading
  • 50 g ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 250 g fresh white crab meat
  • 25 g capers, chopped
  • a few drops tabasco
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1 tsp powdered gelatine
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 250 g slices of smoked salmon, cut into 5cm-thick strips
  • lemon wedges, to serve
  • sprigs dill, to serve
