  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 50 g prunes, chopped
  • 4 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 125 ml red wine
  • 50 g preserving sugar
  • 0.25 tsp mixed spice
  • salt and black pepper, to taste
