Waffle cream brownie

Ingredients

For the brownies

  • 4 eggs
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • tsp salt
  • 450 g dark chocolate
  • 140 g butter
  • 140 g self-raising flour, sifted
  • 115 g mini chocolate chips
For the vanilla Belgium waffles

  • 225 g plain flour
  • 100 g cornflour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinches salt
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 200 ml full fat milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 vanilla pod, scraped
  • 90 g butter, melted
  • 50 g sugar
For the hazelnut and coffee cream

  • 570 ml double cream
  • 50 g whole coffee beans
  • 100 g toasted Hazelnuts, chopped
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • tsp almond essence
  • 1 pinches salt
  • 225 g white chocolate
  • 1 tbsp Frangelico
