Five-spice duck breasts with vegetable sticks

Ingredients

  • 50 g French beans, trimmed
  • 100 g carrots, peeled
  • 0.5 red peppers, seeded
  • 1 small courgette, trimmed
  • 50 g mangetout
For the duck

  • 2 duck breast, weighing 170g eachwith skin
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp chinese five spice
  • 1 tbsp clear honey
  • 2 tbsp ketjap manis, (sweet soy sauce)
  • 0.5 red chillies, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 small clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 cm ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper
