Heavenly eden cake

Ingredients

  • 120 g icing sugar, plus extra for sprinkling
  • 120 g unsalted butter
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 20 g plain flour
  • 120 g ground almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 25 ml limoncello liqueur
For the topping:

  • 200 ml Greek yogurt
  • 200 ml double cream, whipped
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • zest of 1 lemons
  • small handful of almonds
To decorate:

  • 1 pomegranate
  • 6 figs, quartered, brushed with honey and roasted
  • small handful of blanched flaked almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey
