  • 3 tablespoon CRISCO Stick
  • 1 medium onion , chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 medium green pepper , chopped (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1 stalk celery , chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 pound cooked ham , diced
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • 2 cup Swanson® Chicken Broth
  • Swanson® Chicken Stock
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 1/9 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves , crushed
  • 1/9 teaspoon chili powder or ground red pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
  • 3/4 pound medium cooked shrimp , peeled and deveined
