Ingredients

  • 1 pt shucked oysters (halved, if large), in their liquor
  • 1 cup (1/2 pt) heavy (whipping) cream
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 can (8-3/4 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (8-1/4 oz) cream-style corn
  • 1/2 cups fine saltine cracker crumbs (from 44 finely crushed saltines)
  • 1/2 cup each finely diced red bell pepper and thinly sliced scallions
  • 1/2 stick (4 Tbsp) butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
