  • rind of 4 lemons
  • juice of 4 lemons
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 5 free-range eggs, well-beaten
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch, mixed with a little cold water
