  • 1 teaspoon  sugar or sugar substitute* equivalent to 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 8 small  fresh figs**
  • 3 sheets  frozen phyllo dough (14x9-inch rectangles)
  •   Nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 tablespoons  very finely chopped pistachio nuts
  • 1 teaspoon  olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon  honey
  • 2 teaspoons  arrowroot or cornstarch
