  • 1 14-1/2-ounce can  hominy, drained
  • 1 6-ounce can  tomato paste
  • 1 4-ounce can  diced green chili peppers
  • 2 medium  onions, chopped (1 cup)
  • 2 medium  zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced (2-1/2 cups)
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons  chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon  ground cumin
  • 3/4 teaspoon  garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon  sugar
  •   Salt (optional)
  • 1-1/2 cups  shredded Monterey Jack cheese (6 ounces)
  •   Dairy sour cream (optional)
  •   Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
