Maple Date-nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup  all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup  whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp.  baking powder
  • 1 tsp.  salt
  • 3/4 tsp.  baking soda
  • 1 cup  boiling water
  • 1 cup  chopped pitted dates
  • 1 Tbsp.  butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup  maple syrup
  • 1   egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup  chopped pecans

Description

Whole Wheat Flour Adds A Little Fiber To This Quick Bread. Serve It Warm For Breakfast Or A Snack.
