  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon  cayenne pepper
  • 2 medium  yellow summer squash, cut into 1-inch pieces (2-1/2 cups)
  • 1 8-ounce package  fresh mushrooms, halved or quartered (about 3 cups)
  • 3/4 cup  dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup  raisins
  • 1/2 cup  dried tart cherries
