  • 1 5-ounce can (2/3 cup)  evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup  milk
  • 1/4 cup  butter or margarine
  • 3   slightly beaten eggs
  • 3/4 cup  sugar
  • 1 teaspoon  vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons  cooking oil
  •   Maple-flavored or fruit-flavored syrup
