Ingredients

  • 2 cups  chopped, peeled tomatoes
  • 2 cups  tomato juice
  • 1 cup  beef broth or vegetable broth
  • 2 medium  peaches or nectarines, peeled and chopped (1-1/2 cups)
  • 1/2 cup  chopped, seeded cucumber
  • 1/4 cup  sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup  snipped fresh cilantro
  • 2 medium  fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons  lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons  tequila (optional)
  • 1 clove  garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon  sugar
  • Several dashes  bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1 8-ounce package  frozen, peeled, cooked shrimp, thawed and chopped
