  • 1 tablespoon  orange liqueur or orange juice
  • 2-2/3 cups  all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons  poppy seeds
  • 2 teaspoons  finely shredded orange peel
  • 1/2 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup  red currant jelly, melted and cooled
