  • 2 cups  halved and pitted fresh dark and/or light sweet cherries
  • 2 tablespoons  toasted sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup  whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon  sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon  vanilla
  •   Fresh mint (optional)
