  • 8 ounces  packaged dried vermicelli or spaghetti
  • 1/2 of a medium  red or green sweet pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2   green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon  margarine or butter
  • 1-1/4 cups  chicken broth
  • Dash  ground nutmeg
  • 1 8-ounce carton  plain low-fat yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons  all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup  grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup  pine nuts or slivered almonds, toasted
