  • 1/2 cup  light cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup  finely shredded Swiss cheese
  • 2   eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon  dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon  salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon  ground black pepper
  •   Snipped fresh chives or thyme sprigs (optional)
