  • 2 tablespoons  dry sherry
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons  cornstarch
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons  toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon  crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon  cooking oil
  • 4 cloves  garlic, minced
  • 4 medium  carrots, thinly bias-sliced (2 cups)
  • 3   green onions, slivered or thinly sliced
  • 2 cups  hot cooked rice
  •   Crushed red pepper (optional)
