Southwestern Ribs With A Rub

Ingredients

  • 4 cups  mesquite wood chips
  • 1 cup  ketchup
  • 1/2 cup  light-colored corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup  white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup  packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup  finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons  yellow mustard
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons  Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves  garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon  coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon  bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon  ground cumin or chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon  cayenne pepper
  • 4 pounds  pork loin back ribs
  • 1 recipe  Rib Rub (see recipe below)

Description

These Pork Ribs Are Smeared With A Peppery Rub, Slathered With Barbecue Sauce, Then Grilled Over Mesquite Chips For A Great Smoke Flavor.
