  • 1 14-oz. can  chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp.  lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp.  salt
  • 1/2 tsp.  dried marjoram, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp.  ground black pepper
  • 2 medium  red and/or green sweet pepper, cut into strips
  • 10 oz.  fresh spinach, coarsely chopped (about 10 cups)
  • 1 Tbsp.  vinegar
  • 1 recipe  Creamy Polenta
  • 1/3 cup  cold water
  • 1/4 cup  all-purpose flour
