Penny Rolls

Ingredients

  • 3 small  potatoes (about 3/4 pound)
  • 1/4 cup  warm water (105 degrees F to 115 degree F)
  • 1 package  active dry yeast
  • 6 tablespoons  butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup  granulated sugar
  • 2   eggs
  • 1 teaspoon  salt
  • 5 to 5-1/2 cups  all-purpose flour
  • 1 recipe  Butterscotch Topping (see recipe below)
  • 1/4 cup  butter, melted
  • 1 cup  packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons  ground cinnamon

Description

These Sweet Yeast Rolls Are Rich, Yet Light, Thanks To The Mashed Potatoes. Serve Them With The Butterscotch Topping For A Sweet Treat At Breakfast.
