Pan-Roasted Spiced Lamb Chops with Mango Chutney

Ingredients

Lamb:
2 tablespoons ground coriander
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons ground ginger
1 tablespoon curry powder
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cardamom seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
12   lamb chops , (1 1/2 to 2 inches thick) single or double ribs
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons coarse sea salt
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

Mango Chutney:
6 firm half-ripe mangoes , peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup cider vinegar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
10 cloves garlic , peeled and thinly sliced
1-inch piece fresh ginger , peeled and thinly sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
