- 8-10 button mushrooms, quartered
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup flat-leaf parsley, chopped, separated
- 2 fresh bay leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- Dumplings:
- 2 c all purpose flour
- 1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c milk
- 1 tsp salt
