- Grated rind of 2 oranges
- 1 and 1/4 cups milk
- 3 Tablesps. Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur
- 1 and 1/2 Tablesps. butter; melted
- 6 egg-yolks; beaten
- 8 egg-whites; at room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- for the cream fraiche sauce:
- 1/3 cup commercial sour cream
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 Tablesp. + 2 teasps. cream cheese; softened1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teasp. amaretto liqueur
