Creole Venison Chops With Andouille Mustard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2lbs boneless venison chops or small steaks
  • 8oz full fat sour cream(all natural is okay, but don't use the low fat stuff:)
  • 3T Creole or Cajun style mustard
  • 2t Creole or cajun seasoning
  • 1T worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2-3t red pepper flakes
  • 2t fresh ground pepper
  • kosher or sea salt
  • juice from 2 limes
  • 1lb andouille sausage, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream(can sub half and half, if desired, but you may need to thicken the sauce with a lil corn starch slurry)

Description

Venison Chops Take A Rest In A Slightly Unusual Mix Of Ingredients Then Pan Cooked To A Medium Rare And Topped With A Creamy Sauce With Creole Mustard And Sausage. Delicious With Rice.
