- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 lb potato gnocchi (I curve my gnocchi to resemble slugs)
- 4 large, ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded (or a 28 oz can petite diced tomatoes)
- 2 medium garlic cloves
- 15 fresh basil leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
